Thank you for your interest in continuing your traineeship here at Maple Counseling!

If you want to stay on in the Adult Program, know that preference is given to applicants who commit to a full second year. Continuation in your current program for less than a year will be considered, but only if you depart when a new cohort is arriving (i.e. end of August). This is for the continuity of care of your clients, who may need to be transferred when you leave.

On April 11, 2026 your current agreement with Maple ends, and your supervision group disbands. Continuing at Maple may mean a change of supervisor and a group that is at a different time.
These will be the options you may select on the application for continuing in the Adult Program:

Complete second year - end 4/10/27
Partial year to August – end 8/29/26
Partial year to January– end 1/9/27

If you wish to apply to either the Child & Family Program or the Adolescent Program, please be aware that those programs begin at the end of August and will require a full August ’26 – August ’27 commitment. Application for those programs begins in January.
